Partners and Sponsors

Making the Wireless AMBER Alerts Initiative work required the cooperation of many organizations besides the participating carriers. The Wireless Foundation acknowledges with profound gratitude the generous contributions made by the following organizations:

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children NCMEC was established in 1984 as a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization to provide services nationwide for families and professionals in the prevention of abducted, endangered, and sexually exploited children. NCMEC provides subject matter expertise for the development of the Wireless AMBER Alerts Initiative.
Syniverse Syniverse was selected by participating carriers to provide the technology platform that delivers the Wireless AMBER Alerts to wireless phones. Syniverse has donated technical development, support and hardware to The Wireless Foundation in support of the Wireless AMBER Alerts initiative.
Department of Justice The U.S. Department of Justice's mission is to enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic; to provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.
